Recreate Met Gala Looks by Celebrity Makeup Artist Nina Park

"Greta’s white lace LOEWE dress served as a guiding principle for the makeup. While structured, the dress embodied an ethereal quality, evoking the sensation of air and a feeling of weightlessness. It was as if Greta was gracefully floating, and we wanted the makeup to complement that feeling. We kept her complexion soft and dewy and went with thoughtful placements of color to evoke a sense of airiness and Springtime, enhancing the floral appliqués throughout her dress. Drawing inspiration from the celestial hues of dawn and dusk, I utilized a pink and coral color palette. The subtle shades added an elegant flush of color, creating a radiant, lit-from-within glow."

I began by applying The Eyeshadow Cream under the eyebrows to highlight.

Soft washes of The Eyeshadow Matte were applied to create depth.

Then the shade Feel Elated was pressed onto her outer lids to enhance the pink.

I used a very light layer of primer on her lashes.

I completed the eye look with two coats of mascara for added intensity.

I began with soft washes of matte blush to sculpt and contour the cheeks and eyes.

I carefully used the Cheek Polish in Emotive Coral to give a delicate wash of color onto her cheeks and eyes. I also used the Cheek Polish in Pearl Reflection on small areas of her cheeks to give an intentional high shine and reflecting effect as a highlighter.

For a luminous touch, I used The Blush Pearl to enhance the color on the cheeks.

I used the Lip Serum Tint in Sunday Nude to finish the look – I chose a shade that had a subtle hue to not overpower the pinks and pastels we used on Greta.

For brows, we used the Eyebrow Pencil to define her brows but keep them soft and ethereal.

To set the makeup and provide a flawless finish, I dusted setting powder over the face.

Finally, I spritzed the setting spray to ensure the longevity of the makeup throughout the night.
